Matti’s Weird, Wacky and Wonderful Victoria Newsletter
Dedicated to rooting out the Weird, Wacky and Wonderful stuff in Greater Victoria.
You know, stuff that makes you exclaim out loud: “Wowie-Zowie.”
This is great to share with newcomer friends but also you may find something that catches your eye, your breath or makes you smile.
How to Get Out of Your Own Way
This is a book by Victoria author and my friend Kristina Sisu.
It is of wisdom from her journey and has 40 “transformers” that we can use to clear the blocks on our path.
Kristina has found a way to make life smoother, more joyous and fun.
I also recommend her personal consultations. I had one this week on my issue(s) around money. I felt lighter and the shift kept happening for a day after. It was big.
If this calls to you, contact Kristina at firstname.lastname@example.org
and…remember to enjoy.

Grass Fed and Grass Finished Meat
For those who want the omega3 and 6 balanced in their meat, there is a new company from the mainland. You can find their meat at Mother Nature’s in Cook Street Village and at Lifestyles. While it says “Grass fed,” I am assured it is also grass finished (not finished on grain for the last 6 weeks which changes the profile dramatically). Their name escapes me, but you will see it…something like New World.
Talking of which, Ingredients is a funky, almost like the old hippy health stores of the 60s and 70s. http://www.ingredientshealthfood.com
2013 Store Street. That is across and just down the street from Capital Iron. Tell Cindy I sent you. Try the eggs from Saltspring…organic and appears to be the only place that has them.
Every second Wednesday, my friend Soren has his Laughter Yoga sessions at Ingredients. Always a great time.
Also, every Sunday at 10:30am, we have Laughter Yoga in Beacon Hill Park. It is for one hour, so it a great way to start your Sunday. We work at finishing on time, so you can get to your next summer Sunday event or whatever is on your schedule…
We in the middle of the park by the sundial, which is across from the washrooms. Hope to see you soon.
Quote to end off on:
“Happiness cannot come from without. It must come from within. It
is not what we see and touch or that which others do for us which
makes us happy; it is that which we think and feel and do, first
for the other fellow and then for ourselves.” – Helen Keller
If you have found something deeeelightful in the Victoria area, email it to me before First Thursday of the month, and I will see if I can get it in.
