Especially true when we don’t feel like it.
Critically important to smile when we don’t feel like it.
Why don’t I feel like it?
Something is “up” for me. Some unresolved emotional issue.
A great way to begin to resolve issues is from an empowered state.
What might that be?
How about when we have endorphins and the other “feel good” hormones coursing through our veins?
And how can we have that?
Laughter works of course. Laughter Yoga sessions (minimum 10 – 15 minutes) work well to put things in perspective.
Smiling also releases endorphins.
So, whenever there is an issue preventing us from feeling good, try smiling.
Put a pencil, pen or even your finger in the mouth. This causes the corners of the mouth to turn up.
That is what releases the feel good process.
From that empowered state, we may find resolution in a more elegant fashion.
