The big banks use similar structures, called “variable interest entities”—companies established largely to hold off-the-books positions.

 

Wells Fargo has more than $1 trillion of VIE assets, about which we currently know very little, because reporting requirements are opaque.

 

But one popular investment held in VIEs is securities backed by commercial mortgages, such as loans to shopping malls and office parks—two categories of borrowers experiencing severe strain as a result of the pandemic….

 

 

…It is a distasteful fact that the present situation is so dire in part because the banks fell right back into bad behavior after the last crash—taking too many risks, hiding debt in complex instruments and off-balance-sheet entities, and generally exploiting loopholes in laws intended to rein in their greed.

 

Sparing them for a second time this century will be that much harder…

 

 

A bank shouldn’t be able to keep $1 trillion worth of assets off its books.

 

If we do manage to make it through the next year without waking up to a collapse, we must find ways to prevent the big banks from going all in on bets they can’t afford to lose.

He was 105 when he died.

 

He was happy every day.

 

He lived life to the fullest.

 

His name? Dr. Shikeaki Hinohara.

 

“They say that with age comes knowledge. A lifetime of trial and error, meaningful experiences, and lessons learned gives people a deeper perspective of the world that younger generations tend to lack.

 

Life, like anything, requires practice. That is something that this 105-year-old Japanese doctor vouched for in his life.

 

His goal before his death was to share with you what he learned so that you can learn how to live longer and be happy.

 

At a glance:

 

1. Healthy eating

“All people who live long — regardless of nationality, race or gender — share one thing in common: None are overweight.[2]”

2. Plan ahead

Find things that excite you and put them into your schedule to give yourself something to look forward to. 

3. “Retiring” doesn’t mean you stop doing what you love

“There is no need to ever retire, but if one must, it should be a lot later than”

4. Share what you know

“I give 150 lectures a year, some for 100 elementary-school children, others for 4,500 business people. I usually speak for 60 to 90 minutes, standing, to stay strong.”

 

Knowledge is power. Use what you have learned from your experiences to teach other people and contribute to society in a positive way.

5. There’s more to healing than science

“I think music and animal therapy can help more than most doctors imagine.”

Coming from the mouth of a doctor: “Science alone can’t heal everything.”

6. Take the stairs and carry your own stuff

Keeping your body strong will help to also keep your mind strong as you age. Hinohara reported that he would take the stairs two at a time to get his muscles moving. If this 105-year-old man could do it, then you can too!

7. Find inspiration

“My inspiration is Robert Browning’s poem “Abt Vogler.” It encourages us to make big art, not small scribbles.”

8. Heal pain with fun

“Pain is mysterious, and having fun is the best way to forget it.”

9. Don’t be crazy about amassing material things.

Hinohara knew more than anyone that you can’t take material things with you when you die. Don’t waste your life attempting to accumulate ‘things’. Instead, use your time and money to accumulate experiences.

Coffee as Poisonous Drug? Mastery Newsletter 2020

The easiest way to control a population is to poison it. Poisoning makes people weak and needy.

 

Weak and needy people literally beg to be ruled. You can’t farm lions, only lambs.

 

Narcotics work best at building addiction, providing escapism and destroying strength in the body. As an invading force, this is optimal.

 

This is why every great nation that has spread across the earth used to have laws that made narcotics illegal.

You must market the slave’s poisoning of themselves as normal and all part of the immense freedom they have down in the slave camp.

 

There are such groups documented throughout history who do take over cultures (and destroy them) with narcotics and many other fake freedoms that weaken the herd, both physically and spiritually.

 

The EU and North America are now about to fall to this covert group and coffee has plenty to do with this stealth attack, as do all the other health and strength destroying chemicals/narcotics that are smuggled into our society.

 

These health destroying compounds are brought into our society purposely, in order to bring about its downfall and our subjugation to an enemy most know nothing about.

 

  1. Caffeine is an alkaloid that the coffee plant uses to kill bugs, which eat its’ seeds.

The coffee plant also uses caffeine in the coffee pods to kill surrounding plants, so the coffee plant can attain more sunlight and grow larger.

 

Caffeine is a pesticide, which causes genetic termination in living cells that come into contact with it.

The energy a person feels when they drink coffee is the body going into overdrive because caffeine is a poison and all poisons activate an energy release in the body. (fight or flight) Coffee removes energy from the system.

 

  1. When the fight or flight response is triggered in the body, the lower IQ centers of the brain are activated as well as hormonal systems in control of aggression, violence, irrational and illogical decision making, jealousy, rage, anger, fear and paranoia.

 

  1. When measured, 1 coffee activated the fight and flight response for 3 consecutive weeks, even though no other caffeine was consumed after that 1 cup of coffee.

 

This means the most primal/low IQ centers of the brain (the limbic system) are activated for 3 weeks after consuming one cup of coffee, even if no other caffeine is consumed in that 3 week period.

 

Making decisions through the limbic center of the brain (our caveman portion) is also proven to lead to chaotic life situations because of the low mental processing capabilities that area of the mind is famous for.

 

  1. When coffee (caffeine) is consumed, the limbic part of the brain is hyper activated and the higher learning centers of the mind inhibited.

 

The limbic part of the brain is only concerned with sex, reproduction, protection of territory, food acquisition and personal safety.

 

The limbic portion of the brain is the most primitive and least developed portion of the mind complex.

 

When you want to out smart or dominate another person, it’s best that their limbic system is activated, because it brings them to a mental state equal to that of a child.

 

  1. The birth control pill inhibits clearing of ingested caffeine.

 

This effect is increased dramatically by alcohol or pain killer use, therefore causing many cases of caffeine poisoning, which get treated as other things once the person reaches the hospital.

Sweden’s health care system wasn’t overwhelmed, and it has only had about 3,000 deaths in the country. It is well past the peak infection. And I expect that no special measures will be required in the fall. The country will have already reached herd immunity.

 

Others in Europe are criticizing Sweden. Denmark and Norway, who imposed lockdowns, have less than 1,000 deaths. But the critics forget one key point… The area under the curves is the same. The infections have only been spread out over a longer period of time….”

Sweden’s approach to managing the current pandemic stands as a singular totem in opposition to almost the rest of the world.

The country demonstrated remarkable courage not to bend to the fear and panic spread by Neil Ferguson, an epidemiologist from Imperial College, and the mass media hungry for big headlines.

Why is Sweden unique? It didn’t shut down its economy.

Instead, it applied a rational set of rules designed to flatten the rate of infections to not overwhelm its health care system. The rules are simple.

Restaurants and bars stay open, but only for table service. Younger students stay in school, as they are the lowest risk population. This also allows parents to work. Gatherings of more than 50 people are not allowed. No one can visit a retirement home (eldercare facility). And anyone who gets sick needs to self-quarantine for two weeks.

The approach is based on two simple truths.

First, a virus like COVID-19 cannot be stopped. Its reproductive rate is high, and it will spread widely and quickly. The only thing that can be controlled is the timeframe over which it spreads (e.g., a matter of months vs. a year).

Second, flattening the curve does not necessarily mean saving lives or reducing infections. It simply means spreading them out. This is easy to see in the diagram below from the University of Michigan.

The most important thing for us to understand about “the curve” is that the area under the curve is the same for both curves. Put simply, the same number of people will become infected with COVID-19. The only thing that changes is the timeframe.

Sweden believed that by putting those above-mentioned measures in place, it would be able to keep the number of infections low enough that its health care system wasn’t overloaded. It knowingly allowed COVID-19 to spread among the healthy part of its population.

Why?

Sweden is working toward herd immunity. It understands that, in the absence of a vaccine, that is the only way to stop it. Herd immunity occurs when a larger percentage of a population has developed a natural immunity to a virus.

That percentage is likely around 60% for COVID-19. It’s the stage when the virus’ ability to be transmitted gets disrupted enough that its spread slows dramatically or stops entirely.

And Anders Tegnell, Sweden’s chief epidemiologist, believes that Sweden is only weeks away from achieving herd immunity in Stockholm.

And guess what? It worked.

Is the Fight Against Corona Worse Than the Disease? Mastery Newsletter April 29, 2020

The lockdown may cause more deaths than the virus ever could.

 

Poverty and hunger may kill more people than the infection. Perhaps even many, many times more people than the infection.

He says we are not preventing death. We are just moving the dates.

 

The entire “flattening the curve” initiative is just to prevent the hospitals being overwhelmed.

 

When we lift the restrictions from this lockdown, the disease will spike again, according to Dr. Katz.

 

He says the COVID-19 virus is bad enough. It is worse that we have incompetent leaders dealing with it.

 

In the US alone, there are now 35 million unemployed. The lockdown is destroying livelihoods and destroying lives.

 

A key point is that poverty is the single leading factor in poor health.

 

Poor people can’t afford to eat well and have other positive lifestyle habits.

 

Reports indicate child abuse is up, spousal abuse is up. Anxiety and depression are taking hold and suicides are spiking.

 

While Dr. Katz says the lockdown is extreme, he is also not a fan of the Swedish approach. He says that is a little too extreme at the other end.

 

Middle Ground Missing

 

Dr. Katz says we have not explored the middle ground.

 

One extreme is the lockdown:

 

“…From the start of all this, we have languished in the realm of the opposing, but comparably preposterous.

 

It is preposterous to say “everyone back in the water, including grandma and grandpa, and never mind the rip tides and sharks…”

 

That is what an indiscriminate campaign to “liberate” a state sounds like to me.

 

It is heartless, thoughtless, and callous.

 

But, so, too, is “hunker in a bunker on an indefinite timeline until there’s a vaccine or you die of something else, whichever comes first.”

 

So, too, is inattention to the possibility that poverty and hunger will kill many more people- perhaps even orders of magnitude more people- than infection….”

 

He says we don’t have a strategy in place for the next stage.

 

When we do lift the lockdown, the infections will peak again.

 

All we are doing is not preventing deaths, but moving the dates of those deaths.

 

What we need instead is what is called in the medical profession “total harm minimization.”

 

A middle ground taking all factors into account.

 

“We need grown ups in charge.” And we don’t have that, according to Dr. Katz.

 

We WANT to Get Infected!

 

Dr. Katz says we could achieve our crucial goals by protecting the elderly and other at risk in our population. And not shutting down the economy and throwing untold millions into poverty.

 

Again, poverty being the single leading indicator of poor health.

 

Dr. Katz puts COVID-19 into perspective by saying that 98 to 99% of those who contract it have little or no symptoms.

 

The problem? If you lock everyone away so they don’t get the virus, the problem shows up when you let everyone out.

 

You don’t prevent the deaths form the virus. You just change the dates.

 

Herd Immunity

 

Instead what we need, says Dr. Katz, is to let those who are not elderly or otherwise at risk to get the virus.

 

Herd immunity is when those who would have mild symptoms get it, get over it and make antibodies.

 

If I have antibodies, I can’t get it and I can’t give it to you.

 

When enough of us have had the virus, there enough dead ends for the virus. It can no longer travel from person to person and it dies out. That’s herd immunity.

 

Protect the at Risk Population. Let Everyone Else Get it.

 

Bill Maher interviewed Dr. Katz, video below. Maher made the point that we don’t want to get to the point where we believe we have to lock ourselves away from germs. Germs are everywhere. You can’t avoid them. We have to win the battle within our bodies, not outside.

What fortifies us against this and other viruses is lifestyle choices.

 

Don’t smoke. Eat well. Exercise. Get adequate sleep. And so on.

 

This is a tough sell because the results are long term and we are addicted to short term results.

 

The final word to Dr. Katz:

 

“…I will even go out on a limb and make this prediction: all-cause mortality for the remainder of the year after the COVID crest comes and goes will be lower than usual, because the disease is mostly accelerating death in those already most proximal to it…”

Splintering of the Soul a Cause of Disease? Mastery Newsletter February 4, 2020

Is this a missing piece of the dis-ease puzzle?

 

Should we be paying attention to our souls…even before we start focusing on diet and exercise?

 

Of course, we cannot ignore what we eat and that our bodies are meant to be used.

 

But medical anthropologist Alberto Villoldo tells us that a major cause of disease is what he calls “the splintering of the soul.”

 

Villoldo studied with shamans of South America for decades. He paid a high price for it as well.

 

One day he was told by doctors his heart and liver were on the point of shutting down. He had picked up some nasty bugs.

 

He had 5 types of hepatitis, 5 types of hepatic viruses, 3 or 4 parasites and a host of toxic bacteria.

 

He went back to the jungle where his shaman friends helped to restore his health.

 

Today he is healthier than even.

 

In this journey, he made some discoveries which he outlines in his book HOW TO GROW A NEW BODY.

 

Many folks have hormones that are out of balance. Villoldo says that often this is because some of our ancestors are present in our energy field.

 

These ancestors have not worked out their energy and are using us as a “dumping ground” for their toxic energy.

Until we help these ancestors move on and leave us, diet and exercise changes may do little to help heal our bodies.

 

Villoldo feels that this kind of splintering of the soul is a major cause of disease in the world today.

 

Our task? Help our ancestors to recover their destiny.

 

Villoldo’s book contains some rituals that he has adopted from his shamanic friends.

Carbon Dioxide (CO2) is a miracle molecule. It is not a nasty thing we need to reduce.

 

“We don’t have too much CO2. We don’t have enough.”

 

We have 400 parts per million (PPM) currently. That is a gain of 130 PPM since the start of the industrial revolution.

 

However, when we look back we had 2,600 PPM. High CO2 levels is what allowed plants to flourish. The very plants we rely on for sustenance.

 

Since that time, we have dropped 2,000 PPM. And we are being told that an increase of 130 PPM is somehow a problem.

 

Wrightstone says CO2 is increasing and fossil fuels are contributing to it.

 

But, and it’s a big but, this is a good thing. We need more CO2. Warming is good. We don’t have too much. We are actually in a period of CO2 impoverishment. (!!!)

 

Wrightstone goes on to say the earth is greening. Air and water are getting cleaner. We are thriving and prospering.

 

We are being told that increasing temperatures are catastrophic. The opposite is true.

 

Warmer temperatures are contributing to the greening of the planet.

 

The current warming trend started in the late 17th Century after what was called the “little ice age.”

 

From 1250 to about 1850 a third of the world population perished because of this little ice age. So…not a good thing.

 

Each of the warming periods great civilizations rose up. The cold periods are what produced famines.

 

“The big untold story of the 21st Century and the late 20th Century is the greening of the earth.”

 

Two countries, India and China, have had a huge greening during the last 20 years.

 

Wrightstone says google it. Two words: “NASA and greening”

Both countries have had “…ambitious tree-planting programs that has led to more land area being covered in vengetation.”

 

Another point.

 

Fossil fuels lift people out of energy poverty.

 

There are 4 million deaths a year from lung disease from people cooking in their homes with wood an dried dung.

 

“People who are pushing green new deal and Paris Climate Accord…(will mean dooming) billions of people around the world to generational poverty.”

 

Fossil fuels provide “abundant, affordable, reliable energy and those three words are not associated with wind or solar.”

 

“Climate Change is the deliberate corruption of the scientific process.”

 

Case in point. The UN had a report that one million species will be going extinct over the next several decades.

 

Wrightstone says he looked at the same data the UN did and found that the rate of extinctions has been in decline since the late 1800s.

 

“You would have to have 25,000 to 30,000 species going extinct every year. You know what’s been the average over the last 40 years? Two. Two!”

 

“We care about the planet and we’re preserving those species. Just the opposite of what we’re told.”

 

Wrightstone’s conclusion. It’s just media spin.

 

The game is: They need to frighten the population to accept otherwise onerous and painful things like the Green New Deal and the Paris Climate Accord.

“Our bodies contain countless healing chemical combinations modern science can’t even conceive of.” –Dr. Habib Sadeghi writing in THE CLARITY CLEANSE

 

The good doctor continues: “These chemical combinations can be as effective as drug or surgery, and most cases more so.”

 

So, the body own chemistry can be and often is more effective than drugs or surgery!

 

When patients get well on their own, without drugs or surgery, the medical folks have a phrase for it…spontaneous healing.

 

They have no other pigeonhole to stick it in. They say it just happened.

 

Here are examples.

 

Norman Cousins was diagnosed with ankylosing spondylitis. A very painful form of arthritis.

 

Cousins decided to make lifestyle changes. He discovered by accident that laughing helped. So he asked a friend to provide him with comedy films.

 

He watched several episodes of a comedy called CANDID CAMERA daily.

 

The story is he laughed himself back to health. But he also made many other chances.

 

Intravenous Vitamin C was one. But his attitude was he was going to enjoy himself regardless and he was going to do anything that might help.

 

He got better and lived for many years after.

 

He used the power of his mind. He took action.

 

In his book ANATOMY OF AN ILLNESS he recalls meeting another person who suffered.

 

He visited Pablo Casals at his home arriving early in the morning.

 

Casals, the famous cellist, was racked with the pain of arthritis. And it was obvious.

 

Then Cousins witnessed what he considered a miracle. Casals began his morning ritual of practicing his cello for one hour.

 

After the hour, Casals got up and there was no indication of arthritis…none.

 

The rest of his day he was totally free of the crippling disease.

 

Dr. Bernie Siegel, author of LOVE, MEDICINE AND MIRACLES recounts the story of Arthur was given less than a year to live.

 

Dr. Siegel ran into Arthur in the grocery store five years later.

 

The good doctor asked Arthur what happened.

 

Arthur told him he had taken the advice Dr. Siegel had given him.

 

If you have only 6-12 months to live, make it the best 6-12 months of your life.

 

Arthur took that advice literally.

 

He quite the job he never liked.

 

Booked himself on the cruise he always wanted to take.

 

Took up piano, which he had always wanted to do.

 

After six months of this new life, he said he was feeling so good he didn’t have to die!

 

Five years later he was in great health and had never been sick since.

 

Are you seeing a common thread here?

 

What did Norman Cousins, Pablo Casals and Arthur have in common?

 

I’ll give you a few moments…

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

 

Did you catch it?

 

They all decided to FEEL GOOD.

 

Cousins by laughing.

 

Casals by playing his beloved cello.

 

And Arthur by doing this he loved…things he had wanted to do all his life.

 

Is becoming healthier and even healing dis-eases possible just by feeling good?

 

Perhaps.

 

Dr. Sadeghi’s experience is that our bodies have the Super Power to create chemical compounds to heal us.

 

Feeling good may be the key to unlocking those compounds to do their magic.

 

And what is the key to feeling good?

 

Taking lessons from our three examples:

 

Taking charge of your life. Making the decision to get better, to heal.

 

Laughter in the case of Cousins.

 

Playing music in the case of Casals.

 

Doing the things we have always wanted to do, in Arthur’s case. Not to mention deciding to make the next 6-12 months the best time of your life.

 

Life leaves clues.

 

These clues may be the ones to uncover your body’s healing powers.

 

Your “Super Powers.”

 

We may start by deciding to set aside time for something we really engoy.

 

A 5-10 minute soak in a bathtub.

 

A walk in the woods.

 

Joining a laughter club.

 

Reading a book you love.

 

Coffee or tea with a friend.

 

Beginning meditation.

 

Yoga.

 

Ping Pong.

 

Things that nourish us.

 

The challenge is how to get fleeting moments of feeling good to expand. Eventually to the place where we feel good almost all the time.

Creative Use of Mirror Neurons. Mastery Newsletter December 31, 2019

Easier said than done…for most of us.

 

Here is one way that is working for me.

An amazing man who has accomplished and continues to accomplish so much in this life.

 

This is from a talk in Utrecht, Holland and the most poignant moment, the most teachable, learn-able moment comes near the end.

 

He is asked about it being hard to be optimistic, how does he keep up his optimism.

 

The answer: “…I’ve never done anything hard. I’ve never had any struggle…If you, as a designer, make you, make your personhood and then use that personhood as you decide, it’s going to be hard? I’m sorry. If you have food and a friend, what are you bitching about?”

 

 

He also spills the beans on how to love yourself:

“For the next week, every single time you pass by a mirror go ‘Oh Yeah. Me! Because once you love yourself, what anyone ever says about you doesn’t matter.”

 

We have four mirrors in our home. When I pass any one of them, I do this exercise.

 

What a difference it makes.

 

It continues to deepen my love for myself.

 

Listen, we are constantly bombarded with negativity. It seeps into our very fabric.

 

We need to get out of that muck. We need to counter it.

 

This one exercise is a delightfully powerful, wonderful antidote.

 

This exercise, more than anything I can remember for a long time, is opening me up to gratitude for all the wonderful things in life.

 

Why does it work?

 

Here is my guess: Because of “mirror neurons.”

 

When we see someone smile, that triggers the place inside us where smiles live.

 

When we see and hear someone laugh, we access the place inside where the good feeling associated with laughter lives.

 

When we smile at ourselves in the mirror, we access love and positivity.

 

This is how we can learn to deepen our love for ourselves.

 

This is how to make mirror neurons work for you.

Is Your Soul Being Stolen? Dr. Klinghardt and The Perfect Storm. Mastery Newsletter November 26, 2019

Dr. Klinghardt* says Rudolph Steiner** forecast that corporations would attempt to steal our souls by the end of the 20th Century.

 

Dr. Klinghardt says the “perfect storm” for this theft may be the combination of four things: Aluminum, Glyphosate, Fluoride and Wifi.

 

Our pineal gland is the receptor for higher fields of energy. It is also the modulator for our endocrine system and our immune system and much more.

 

Dr. Klinghardt says pineal glands have been severely calcified and no longer functions at full capacity.

 

The reason? The pineal is highly sensitive to four things: Aluminum, Glyphosate, Fluoride and Wifi.

 

These four things being introduced is either it is a coincidence or a group of humans has come under the influence of some dark energy and are attempting to steal our souls.

Morning Empowerment. Mastery Newsletter November 19, 2019

What we do first thing in the morning makes a huge, humongous difference to the rest of the day…

 

What we do can set the tone for the day…and for our lives.

 

I got caught, as many have, in checking emails, Facebook, news sites on the web first thing after waking up.

 

Sometimes a “rabbit hole” sucked me in too…

 

Recently I was guided to consider making a change.

 

And wow…what a difference in my day every time…

 

If you were to choose to give up checking emails, texts, social media, web news, radio news, TV news and all the rest, what would you replace it with?

 

It can feel a little empty. A craving can arise. After all, social media sites are designed to give you a dopamine hit…

 

So we would have to create a stronger dopamine hit and perhaps the other “feel-good” hormones as well: serotonin, endorphins, oxytocin.

 

Here is what I did. Perhaps this will give you some ideas as well.

 

Thanks to Gene (GF) for this first idea.

 

Immediately upon waking, I say five times out loud: “I’m awake. I’m alive. I feel great!”

 

Then roll out of bed…right away. (True confession: still working on getting this one down.)

 

Then the bathroom. Run the bath for my morning ice bath.

 

A few minutes of yoga asanas.

 

Wim Hof iceman breathing.

 

Then, after the ice has done its work for 5 minutes or more, get in the bath.

 

Hot shower, then cold again.

 

Morning meditation for 20 minutes at least.

 

Now, I have to tell you it has become easier to stay away from social media having done all this…

 

So I replace it with some writing. I am writing this, for example, right after my meditation.

 

You can choose to spend half an hour reading. Brian Tracy, the motivational speaker, attributes his success to spending an hour reading first thing in the morning.

 

Now you can add dopamine to your morning by having a “to do” list ready to go from the previous night.

 

Get to the most challenging thing, the most difficult thing first.

 

Checking that off your list gives a huge dopamine hit.

 

Now, for me, I wait until I feel hunger before I put anything in my mouth. You may be a morning coffee person. This is all individual choice and depends on what kind of diet you are on.

 

Some will have porridge. Others fruit. Still others may be doing the celery juice.

 

Note that I am writing before any breakfast.

 

And choosing to wait until real hunger pangs hit. Often that is quite a bit later in the morning.

 

I am working toward staying away from emails, social media and web stuff and news until noon.

 

Since starting this a short time ago, I can tell you…what a difference in energy level and positive outlook on life it has made.

 

If any of this sounds good, you may choose to conduct an experiment.

 

Try one thing first. Maybe a short meditation or a few yoga asanas. Push the social media etc. off just a few minutes at first.

 

Eventually you may feel enough benefit to easily and effortlessly leave all that stuff until noon.

 

Such a sense of empowerment. When we choose to create a morning that we want. And not be sucked into the many rabbit holes first thing.

 

Just some thoughts for your consideration.

Patch Adams has been a “clown doctor” for half a century.

 

He found that less than 3% of people have self-esteem.

 

Less than 5% knew what living a life of vitality is all about.

 

He found the normal adult did not like themselves, their marriage or their job.

 

He himself attempted suicide three times before the age of 18. He did not want to live in a world of violence and injustice.

 

He then realized you don’t have to kill yourself, you can make a revolution. And that’s what he did.

 

He decided to be happy every second of his life. That expanded to be happy, funny, loving, cooperative, creative and thoughtful.

 

Being loving was the most challenging. That’s why he took to clowning. It was the trick to get close to loving.  

 

In 1971 he created a free hospital. Twenty adults, 3 of them doctors lived communally in a 6-bedroom house. 500 to a thousand people in their home a month. 5 to 50 overnight guests.

 

They accepted no health insurance. Just provided everything free.

 

No one would fund them because they refused to get malpractice insurance.

 

They paid their doctors the same as the cleaning staff: $300 a month. All live in the hospital.

 

For these $3600 a year paid positions they get thousands applying every year.

 

Loneliness: A Great Travesty of Our Time

 

Adams says the nuclear family is a failed experiment.

 

For 80 million years we lived communally.

 

The nuclear family experiment has created an epidemic of loneliness.

 

He claims depression is not an illness…it is a symptom of loneliness.

 

The solution? Live communally.

 

Life is not hard, says Adams.

 

“If you are you…If you as a designer make you, make your personhood and then use that personhood as you decide, it’s going to be hard? I’m sorry, if you have food and a friend, what are you bitching about?”

 

His theme? Once you love yourself, what others say doesn’t matter. You’re looking for ways to spend your love.

 

My take away from his talk:

 

Love yourself. Every time you pass a mirror, look at you and say you love your self.

 

Dive into the ocean of gratitude and don’t look for the shore.

 

Connect with friends. Stay connected.

 

Be a clown. It’s the trick to getting close to love.

 

Help others. It is a key to fulfillment.

 

Be happy, funny, loving, cooperative, creative and thoughtful.

As we grow in self-awareness,

 

As we learn more,

 

As we release more of our emotional angst, our traumas, our tensions,

 

As we do all this, we awaken more of our power.

 

As we do this, our thoughts become more and more powerful.

 

Do you believe as I do that our thoughts can create our reality?

 

If so, then having more powerful thoughts means our thoughts have a greater effect on our reality.

 

Therefore, it becomes incumbent upon us to watch what we think much more carefully.

 

It becomes critically important that we “Stand guard at the portal of thought.”

 

That we do not allow negative thoughts.

 

Or at least limit those as much as possible.

 

Fearful thoughts can now more easily create the thing we fear.

 

Growing in awareness is a double edged sword.

 

Our thoughts have more power now.

 

Our work now includes releasing fears.

 

Our deep seated fears can now surface.

 

When they do, our work is to release them.

 

Unless we do so, we risk having those fears come true.

 

How do we know when our work is done?

 

If you are still on Planet Earth, there is still work to do.

 

The trick is to enjoy the challenge.

 

Whatever challenges we face are there for a reason.

 

For us to face them…head on, with gusto, with commitment, with joy.

 

Enjoy the journey…as always…

“The World in Crisis” is the subtitle of this book written by Paul Hellyer*.

 

Ideas from the book:

 

A small group of greedy men took away your power and mine.

 

Their goal total control of the world and rapid depopulation of the world.

 

The method is control of the money supply.

 

Part of his action plan to right things is to take back the creation of money from the Cabal, his term for “The Money Mafia.

 

Hellyer maintains that cheap and efficient energy is available to us and kept secret to line the pockets of the greedy.

 

Also kept secret is that governments, especially the U.S. government, have had contact with aliens for decades.

 

* Paul Hellyer is one of Canada’s best known and most controversial politicians.

 

First elected in 1949, he was the youngest cabinet minister appointed to Louis S. St. Laurent’s government eight years later.

 

He subsequently held senior posts in the governments of Lester B. Pearson and Pierre E. Trudeau, who defeated him for the Liberal Party leadership in 1968.

 

The following year, after achieving the rank of senior minister, which was later designated Deputy Prime Minister, Hellyer resigned from the Trudeau cabinet on a question of principle related to housing.

 

Although Hellyer is best known for the unification of the Canadian Armed Forces and for his 1968 chairmanship of the Task Force on Housing and Urban Development, he has maintained a life-long interest in macroeconomics.

 

Through the years, as a journalist and political commentator, he has continued to fight for economic reforms and has written several books on the subject.

 

A man of many interests, Hellyer’s ideas are not classroom abstractions.

 

He was born and raised on a farm and his business experience includes manufacturing, retailing, construction, land development, tourism and publishing.

 

He has also been active in community affairs including the arts and studied voice at the Royal Conservatory of Music in Toronto.

 

His multi-faceted career, in addition to a near-lifetime in politics, gives Hellyer a rare perspective on what has gone wrong with world economies.

Another Principle of Laughter Yoga:

 

Motion Creates Emotion.

 

Last time we look at the principle of “fake it till you make it.”

 

In Laughter Yoga sessions, another principles is “Motion Creates Emotion.”

 

We are encouraged to move around while doing the Laughter exercises.

 

We find is that when we move, we shake things up a bit.

 

This movement stirs up energy in our bodies and our minds.

 

We become somewhat looser and energetic at the same time.

 

Our minds make more neuronal connections. This can and often does lead to coming up with ideas. Ideas, ah-ha moments that can help us solved sticky problems and issues in our lives.

 

Doctors, fitness instructors and health coaches all encourage us to move our bodies.

 

By doing so energetically, whether laughing, dancing, playing sports and/or walking, we can help improve our fitness levels.

 

A better fitness level can mean better mental function.

 

“Motion Creates Emotion” principle also means we can also find better emotional balance in our lives.

Laughter Yoga Principles to Live By Part 1. Mastery Newsletter July 30, 2019

Laughter Yoga is a worldwide movement based on the concept that we can laugh for no reason.

 

Laughter yogis and yoginis get together regularly to laugh in a group setting.

 

Much fun, good feeling and endorphin production ensues.

 

But can the principles of Laughter Yoga guide us in every day life?

 

Let’s have a look-see.

 

A Principle of Laughter Yoga: “Fake it till you make it.”

 

We move the diaphragm dramatically up an down as if we were laughing.

 

Some say this is not “real” laughter and is therefore fake.

 

  1. So if it is, that’s fine. Eventually as we move around and make eye contact, the laughter can and does break out into “real” laughter.

 

Fake it till you make it in practice.

 

In real life, say giving a public speech, we can use the same principle.

 

Pretend you are confident. Take the stance of a confident person. Breathe like one. Stand tall like one. Make eye contact as a confident person would.

Practice your talk as if you were confident.

 

You are teaching your subconscious mind that you ARE confident.

 

When it learns the lesson, you become one…a confident speaker.
