You do want to be more productive, do you not?

 

First step:

 

Commit. Otherwise it is just a wish.

Are you really wiling to do what it takes? Most people who feel defeated by the alarm clock only “tried” to wake up earlier; they didn’t commit.

 

 

Get to bed earlier. We all need sleep. 7-8 hours seems to be the agreement from research.

 

Don’t “try” to go to bed earlier, just go to bed earlier. Don’t “try” to turn your devices off one hour before bed, just turn them off.

 

 

Stop Saying You’re Not a Morning Person

Watch how you talk to yourself and to others. If you’ve made it part of your identity you’ll have a harder time breaking free from your self-imposed limitations.

 

Say “I’m learning to become a person who makes the most of his/her mornings.”

 

 

Clarify your motivation and put it down in writing.

 

There is something powerful about putting pen to paper. Seize that power.

 

 

Give thanks when you wake up.

 

For all your blessings. “This is a great day. I have never seen this day before.”

 

 

Speak your power.

 

Say: I’m awake, I’m alive, I feel great!”

 

Keep saying it as you get going until you feel it in your bones.

 

 

Say Your Bedtime Affirmations

 

I say: “How is it so easy for me to have a restful sleep and wake up refreshed?”

 

Make up your own.

 

Drink a Cup of Warm Water

 

You can add some lemon to boost your digestion.

 

 

Prioritize your first hour

 

Create a routine around something you’ll be excited to do.

 

Brian Tracy attributes his success to having a reading period first thing.

 

Some meditate, do yoga or tai chi.

 

Create your own empowering morning routine.

 

Be Consistent!

The more you reinforce your morning habits, the more you’ll grow to love them. A key step to any habit is regularity, so try to keep it up, even on the weekends and while you travel.

 

 

If you don’t succeed, ever so gently, start again.

 

Habits may take time to instill. Be easy on yourself.

Laughter Yoga for Better Sleeps.

A few nights ago, I discovered another use/benefit to Laughter Yoga. We had a great evening with friends over for din-dins and then watched the Olympics opening ceremony and the qualifiers for the snowboarders. (wow…amazing what they do!).

Connecting with friends is always awesome. After I put down my nightly reading book and settling in to go to sleep, I spontaneously started laughing.

As you may know, us Laughter Yoga types can and often do laugh for no reason. There was no reason for me to laugh, but it felt great so I continued on. It was only about 5 minutes or so but I fell asleep quite readily. When I awoke I felt refreshed.

Mental note to myself: must do this more often.

Loving What Is Resolution. Mastery Newsletter February 3, 2018

Often New Year’s resolutions reflect a discomfort with what is. Wanting a change because we feel uncomfortable or dissatisfied with the present situation.

 

What if…

Life is already perfect the way it is.

 

What if…

We accept fully our situation as it is.

 

This does not mean stagnation. It does not mean not wanting to improve.

 

It means only that what we have is a reflection of who we are at this moment.

 

It means that life or the universe is showing to us or reflecting to us exactly who we are.

 

This sort of acceptance of what is a great starting point for making improvements.

 

Rather than being dissatisfied, how about deeply appreciating everything just as it is now?

 

From that deep appreciation we can organically grow. From this place of gratitude for our many blessings, we can expand our lives.

 

Being thankful for all that we have, we can give service to others as a way to show our thankfulness.

 

As a prayer to connect with others and with life.

A Goal or a Wish? Mastery Newsletter January 26, 2018

A speaker asks his audience to stand up if they have read Napoleon Hill’s book Think and Grow Rich.

 

As this is a self development workshop, almost everyone stands up.

 

Then…he asks them to remain standing if they are doing the recommended exercise from page 36.

 

Almost everyone sits down.

 

They read the book but did not do what the book said you must to “think and grow rich.”

 

What were they thinking?

 

That you just read the book and magically your wishes would come true? Without having to actually do anything? Without taking action?

 

I sheepishly admit that I read the book many moons ago and also did not do the exercise.

 

The exercise asks that you fix a specific amount of money you want and then set a timeline for it.

 

Without a specific amount of money and a specific time, it is not a goal. It is a wish.

 

Many New Year’s resolutions fall into the wish category.

Loving Yourself is the Best Resolution. Mastery Newsletter January 19, 2018

New Year’s resolutions are all very fine and dandy.

 

Why do so many of them fall by the wayside?

 

Could it be that the first ingredient for successful goal setting is missing?

 

The first thing to lay a foundation for all else is…loving ourselves.

 

Without that, all is lost basically.

 

That may sound over dramatic. Let me lay out the rationale and logic.

 

At one extreme, if we loathe ourselves, really hate who we are and what we do, we can easily sabotage ourselves.

 

My subconscious beliefs about how worthy I am can cause actions and behaviours that go against the very goals I am consciously trying to reach.

 

No one can love you more than you love yourself.

 

If you want to receive love, first give it to yourself. The road to your inner core where you want to be acknowledged, nourished and loved has to be open.

 

Otherwise any love is deflected and can’t get through.

 

Simple concept. You may or may not believe this.

 

However, I challenge you to put it to the test.

 

Every morning, use Louise Hay’s self love process.

 

Look in the mirror into your eyes and say: “I love you. I really love you.” Say it for at least 20 seconds.

 

Note what happens. How you feel.

 

That may give you a sense of how much love you are allowing through to your inner core. Both from yourself and from others.

 

My experience: Very uncomfortable at first. Then it became easier.

 

I find more sense of being loved as a result.

 

Let me know how it goes.

 

(And don’t beat yourself up if and when your New Year’s resolutions fall by the wayside. Ha ha.)

Joy is a Worthy Resolution. Mastery Newsletter January 10, 2018

How are your resolutions for this year going?

 

Congratulations if you are still on track.

 

Many have already fallen off.

 

My friend George at my Toastmasters Club is a regular at the gym.

 

He says every year there is a flurry of activity as those who resolved to get fit join in. After about six weeks, most of them are gone again.

 

 

I have maintained that joy, fun and fulfillment are worthy resolutions.

 

Let’s look at joy.

 

“The purpose of our lives is to be happy.”

-Tenzin Gyatso, the 14th Dalai Lama

 

 

What do we do to achieve happiness?

 

We strive and struggle to achieve “goals,” thinking that once we achieve one or more of them (or more likely many, many of them), then and only then we can relax and feel good

 

The problem? If and when we reach a goal, the feeling of accomplishment may not last long and then…it’s on to another goal. Seems like a treadmill to me.

 

Two Great Secrets:

 

1) There is a shortcut to feeling good and it doesn’t depend on getting any “stuff,” and

 

2) When we choose to feel good first, it’s easier to get “stuff.”

Joy, Fun, Fullfilment. Worthy Resolutions. Mastery Newsletter January 3, 2018

Most New Year’s Resolution start out with intention, clarity, purpose and focus.

 

Why do so many get derailed?

 

Perhaps one or more of these reasons:

 

Life gets busy.

 

Life gets in the way.

 

The goals were not in alignment with our higher selves.

 

How to Align our Goals with Our Higher Selves

 

Ask: What do I REALLY want?

 

At the root of all desires, goals and intentions is what?

 

The desire to be happy?

 

More to the point: to be joyous?

 

Bull’s eye: to be fulfilled?

 

What if?

 

Instead of outer goals…more money, better job, newer car,etc…

 

What if?

We focused on inner goals?

 

Allowing our inner joy out to play and have fun in the outer world.

 

Exploring ways to be more fulfilled?

 

What if?

 

We have more joy, fun and fulfillment, would we feel happier as a result?

 

Would we also find it easier to achieve our outer goals?

 

Hmm.

 

Dr. Joe Vitale said this:

“Joy and bliss may seem frivolous to some but the reality is when we are having fun is when we can be the most productive in our chosen field.”

 

What can we do (or not do) to have more joy, fun and fulfillment in our daily lives?

Try too hard to attain happiness…it remains elusive.

 

“The Pursuit of Happiness” is enshrined in the American Constitution.

 

Was that a mistake made by the founding fathers of America?

 

Possibly.

 

On the one hand, the Dalai Lama says it is up to us to find how to be happy.

 

On the other hand, you may have noticed that many of our efforts to reach that desired state often fall short.

 

Why is that?

 

Perhaps because happiness is meant to be a by-product, as it were, of other efforts.

 

For example, it is said that it is better to give than receive. One recent study showed that giving Christmas presents produces more joy than receiving them.

 

Joseph Campbell (if you don’t know the name, Google is your friend) said what we really want is the experience of being fully alive.

 

I would call that “fulfillment.”

 

What we want more deeply than happiness if the feeling of living a full life. Of being fulfilled.

 

How do we do that?

 

Service to others.

 

As easy as that.

 

Stopping self-centredness. Not focusing on what We want. Not on pleasures, but on work.

 

Not on chasing the dream, but on easing the pain a friend has.

 

Not on making more money to buy the next goal. But on bending down and helping a child.

 

Not on a flashy new car. But calling a family member to see how they are doing.

 

Not on getting a promotion, but smiling at strangers and saying hello.

 

Finding that inner smile that brightens someone’s day.

 

Try it. What have you to lose by smiling?

Laughter Yoga Prevented a Car Accident. Mastery Newsletter December 6, 2017

I am heading into the intersection at normal speed. All of a sudden the car that was waiting in the left turn lane opposite pulls out, cuts right in front of me.

 

I slam on the brakes. Smoke comes from my tires as my car slides toward the left side of the car turning in front of me.

 

I come to a full stop, missing the car by mere inches.

 

Earlier, I had done what I normally do. I laughed for the first 10-15 minutes as I started my holiday shopping drive.

 

I believe that created a sense of calm and ease that allowed my to be a touch quicker getting my foot to the brake.

 

What happened next is the real difference.

 

In my pre Laughter Yoga days, I would have been steaming, angry, raging and perhaps even letting loose some blue language.

 

After 9 years of regular Laughter Yoga, usually every day, my reaction was different.

 

I laughed out loud.

 

You can imagine the adrenalin and cortisol were free flowing…the stress hormones.

 

I kept laughing for about 5 minutes. I was grateful there was no accident.

 

This was truly letting go. I kept laughing until there was no trace of any emotion around the incident. It took about 5 minutes.

 

I paused a few times. Each time, some emotions arose, I restarted laughing.

 

About 5 minutes was all it took to clear away all traces of emotional reaction to it.

 

I felt blessed and looked after.

 

I have never doubted the many benefits of Laughter Yoga.

 

Another great example of it occurred in this incident.

 

This inspires my to keep going and to keep spreading the joy and other benefits of Laughter Yoga.

The Light Inside Us. Mastery Newsletter November 29, 2017

We are taught that light emanates from the sun, bounces off external objects and into our eyes. And that is how we see.

 

The blind World War II French resistance fighter Jacques Lusseyran discovered otherwise.

 

He found we have the light inside us.

 

Lusseyran went blind in a freak accident at the age of 8.

 

The Germans occupied France in 1940 when Lusseyran was only 16. The following year, he created a resistance group. It grew to over 600 members.

 

Lusseyran was charged with interviewing prospective members to weed out any potential spies. His heightened senses seemed to give him extra powers of perception.

 

Eventually the group merged with a well connected and official resistance group, Defence de la France.

 

Their underground newspaper had a circulation of over 100,000 during the occupation.

 

Lusseyran and his friends would carry their shoes in their hands. They quietly slipped the two-page paper under doors in apartment buildings in Paris.

 

The Defence de la France newspaper became France Soir after the war. A daily newspaper with a circulation of 1.5 million in the 1950s.

 

Eventually Lusseyran and many of his friends were arrested by the Gestapo. He was mercilessly tortured. 7am to 7pm for days on end. He never gave up any names.

 

He was sent to a concentration camp, Buchenwald.

 

The treatment of the prisoners became progressively worse as the Germans started to lose the war. Food was scarce and sometimes non-existent. Prisoners were weak and dispirited.

 

Lusseyran found an internal wellspring of strength during this time. He helped others. Often he would translate between French and German. He was a brilliant student and had taught himself German by listening to radio broadcasts.

 

In his autobiography, Lusseyran talks of his body getting blocked up and losing control. First, lungs, then intestines, ears, all his muscles and eventually his heart.

 

He was watching his body in the act of leaving this world. Not wanting to.

 

He describes the bodily pain as “twisting and turning in every direction, like snakes that have been cut in pieces.”

 

In the middle of this torture, Lusseyran said something took hold of him…life! He wrote he had never lived so fully before.

 

“Life had become a substance within me…It came toward me like a shimmering wave, like the caress of light. I could see it beyond my eyes and my forehead and above my head. It touched me and filled me to overflowing. I let myself float on it…I drew my strength from the spring. I kept on drinking and drinking still more.”

 

Slowly he came back from the dead. A friend, who Lusseyran thought to be an atheist told him that he didn’t have a chance in the world. Lusseyran burst out laughing. The friend didn’t understand the laugh, but he never forgot it.

 

He left the hospital on his own two feet. He was filled with happiness. Happiness in a Nazi concentration camp!

 

 

What lessons are there for us in Lusseyran’s experiences?

 

He tells us:

 

“To forget was the law…(all) must be forgotten…to hold on to the strength to live…Memories are too tender, too close to fear. They consume energy. We had to live in the present; each moment had to be absorbed for all that was in it, to satisfy the hunger for life…

 

Latch on to the passing minute. Shut off the workings of memory and hope. The amazing thing is that no anguish held out against this treatment for very long…Suffering may persist, but already it is relieved by half. Throw yourself into each moment as if it were the only one that really existed. Work and work hard.”

 

After the war, he married, had children and taught French literature in America.

 

Tragically, he and his wife died in a car accident on holiday in France. He was only 46.

 

Lusseyran showed his gratitude to his country by writing his autobiography AND THERE WAS LIGHT. He expressed two truths that his experiences had taught him.

 

The first truth is that joy does not come from outside but from within.

 

The second truth is that light does not come to us from without. Light is in us, even if we have no eyes.

Smiling is Your Super Power. Mastery Newsletter November 22, 2017

There is a super power lurking in your belly.

 

It is the “Inner Smile.”

 

You can access this super power just by smiling.

 

When you don’t feel like it…REALLY don’t feel like it…that is when you need this super power the most.

 

In those times, you can put a pencil between your teeth. That creates a smile.

 

Here is why:

 

A smile makes you feel good. A smile triggers the “feel good” hormones such as endorphins, dopamine, serotonin. These have been called “The Angels’ Cocktail. Think of smiling like a natural anti-depressant.

 

A smile relieves stress. The Angels Cocktail crowds out the stress hormones. It is a little known fact that cortisol and adrenaline cannot co-exist with the Feel Good Hormones.

 

Smiling Boosts Your Immune System. Researchers think immune function improves because you are more relaxed when smiling.

 

 

Smiling Lowers Your Blood Pressure. Probably for the same reason as for boosting the immune system. You are more relaxed.

 

Smiling Helps You Stay Positive. Try this test: Smile. Now try to think of something negative without losing the smile. It’s hard, isn’t it? Even when you paste on a smile, it still sends the message to your body and brain: “Life is Good!”

 

Stay away from depression, stress, and worry. Activate your super power: Smile!

Cursive Writing. Dinosaur or Essential Skill? Mastery Newsletter November 15, 2017

Who needs to write anymore? We have laptops. Typing is faster. Smart phones, why we can speak into them to send a text message.

 

Is there any real need to teach students how to write longhand? (that’s what “cursive writing” is.)

 

There are certainly lots who don’t know how to do it and are not bothered learning it. They will say they can always use block printing.

 

Do we lose anything really by not knowing how to sign our names in cursive?

 

I contend that we lose a lot. We lose way more than is visible on the surface.

 

I invite you to look at a bigger picture.

 

For our youngsters to have a fulfilled life, what is necessary and what is fluff and not needed?

 

The school system seems to think that music is not necessary.

 

Physical education is thought of as secondary.

 

I would remind those folks that the word gymnasium really meant school originally.

 

Stick with me on a short circuitous route.

 

First, where is the human mind?

 

If your first answer to this is the brain, that is what many will agree on.

 

Not I.

 

Candace Pert co-discovered endorphins. In her book MOLECULES OF EMOTIONS, she reveals that the mind is in every cell of the body!

 

Allow me to repeat that. The mind is NOT located in the brain. It is in every cell of the body.

 

It may well be why the Attention Deficit diagnosis is so popular. Kids fidget. Teachers don’t like it. What they don’t realize is that to learn, we use our whole bodies. Not just the brain.

 

Bodily movement is an integral part of the learning process.

 

Therefore, it behooves us to expose our young learners to many modalities of movement.

 

I suggest that in order for children to grow into well-rounded, healthy, fulfilled adults we need to have them dip into all kinds of experiences that seem frivolous on the surface.

 

This would include but not be limited to:

 

Music of many genres from classical to modern. Even to have them play an instrument or many instruments.

 

Singing. Everyone can sing. But we drum that out of our kids. That to me is child abuse. Many of us were exposed to that abuse.

 

Dancing. Learning how to elegantly move the body is, I believe integral to a fulfilled life.

 

Art. We can all draw. But calling a child’s efforts a failure because it doesn’t fit with our ideas about beauty is a shame…at best. Abuse at worst.

 

Handwriting and even calligraphy. Something different happens in the body when we write as contrasted with typing (or speaking). In our rush-rush world, many of us have taken to writing quickly and losing our writing skill. “Mindful writing” may be the solution.

 

Literature. Even for computer nerds.

 

Public speaking. Listed by many as the #1 fear. Yet competent communication is critical to advancing in any career.

 

Leadership skills. That should be obvious.

 

Conflict resolution. How to argue. Many think arguing is about what today’s politicians do. That is not arguing. That is hurling abuse. How to argue using reasoned statements is a skill set. Essential, says I.

 

Outdoor survival skills. It builds confidence to know that no matter what nature throws at you, you know what do to.

 

Self-esteem. Not by being politically correct and protecting kids from any and all things that may upset them. But building a strong inner knowing.

 

Martial arts. So they know how to defend themselves and have a strong core that is aware of their surroundings. Self-esteem comes from knowing you can handle yourself and knowing how to stay out of situations.

 

We can probably think of many other topics to study.

 

Emotional Intelligence. How to manage money. Time management. Meditation (“Mindfulness” is actually making inroads now, thank goodness.)

 

Tell me what other areas of study you feel are essential.

 

Tell me if you disagree with me too.

 

 

 

The modern education system was designed to produce workers who can fit into industrialized society. Be the cog in the machine.

 

You did not need to know any of the above to land a job in a pulp mill for example.

 

But the new emerging world needs new skill sets, plural. And we cannot know what connections are made in the mind amongst the many areas of study. Connections that can help us be more creative. Connections that we would not make if we had no grounding in varied fields of study.

What if cancer is a symptom created by the unconscious mind as a distraction to aid in the repression of strong unconscious emotional issues?

 

That is the reasoning of Dr. John Sarno.

 

Writing in Forbes magazine, Edward Siedle reveals that his back pain went away never to come back.

 

Not from surgery, but from understanding the root cause.

 

Dr. Sarno said that we all have emotional pain and even rage in our unconscious mind.

 

The conscious mind creates pain and other conditions such as cancer to distract us from having to deal with the rage and pain in the unconscious.

Vision Versus Intuition – Mastery Newsletter November 5, 2017

A strong vision of where you want to be can pull you along.

 

Create that vision. Do only what will keep you on the path toward it.

 

Eliminate those actions which will not, which are a distraction.

 

Forces beyond out understanding can come into play if we stay focused on the vision.

 

 

Is there an exception?

 

Is there another way? Is there a more powerful way to invoke the power of the universe to our benefit?

 

What about…there is a divine plan for my life. A plan I only have a partial view of?

 

What if my intuition is the keyhole I can look through to see that plan?

 

What if I just pay attention to “what wants to happen next?”

 

Here is an example. My friend and Laughter Yoga buddy Soren Russow lead a Laughter Yoga session. An attendee loved it so much, she kick started negotiations with the organizers of an upcoming conference. (The Hearts and Hands Conference in Vancouver and Victoria, BC, Canada)

 

Those discussions lead Soren and I to brand ourselves as “The Laughter Dudes.” www.LaughterDudes.com

 

We made a proposal as the organizers requested. It was accepted. We held two extended Laughter Yoga sessions in both cities.

The whole thing seems to have taken on a life of its own.

 

Note that Soren and I did not have a “vision” for making this happen.

 

It manifested seemingly on its own.

 

We were just doing what was presented to us…what was in front of our noses. Not really knowing how it would all unfold. We saw one step on the staircase. When we stepped on it, the next step appeared.

 

We were just following intuition at each step.

 

Lesson? Perhaps we can get too fixated on a “VISION” in capital letters. Too fixated on how we want the outcome to be.

 

Perhaps the outcome is meant to be far greater than our vision.

 

Perhaps paying attention to intuition can lead us to something greater than our conscious mind can conceive.

“A lady attended my 2 day leader training (diagnosed with Sjogrens Syndrome – dry eyes, dry mouth). It has no cure.  After just one laughter session she had tears flowing down her face for the first time in years and the next day she was salivating.

Soren Russow CLYL here in Victoria reports back pain relief. He had a back injury. He was not able to bend forward more than slightly…about 10 degrees. After 20 minutes of laughter, much of the pain was gone. He was able to bend most of the way forward without pain.

Who knows, maybe other pains and conditions might be helped too. Certainly we know now that a sustained laughter session can help with motivation. Dopamine is called the motivation hormone. And dopamine is produced in the body with SUSTAINED laughter. We need about 10-15 minutes.

Play is not frivolous.

 

It is critical to bonding with others.

 

It also helps us to solve problems.

 

Isabel Behncke Izquierdo studies the social behavior of primates in Congo.

 

She explored how the play of adult bonobos can offer insights into human laughter.

 

Play opens us up to creativity and our capacity for wonder and exploration.

 

Her talk shows us may be critically important for us to relearn how to play more.

 

In order to begin unravelling conflict. Not just in our personal lives, but also globally.

 

I am reminded of US President Ronald Reagan playfulness saving the day with Soviet President Gorbachev.

 

On their initial meeting in Iceland, you could have cut the tension with a knife.

 

They had been introduced, but Reagan, sensing the stress, smiled and said, let’s start over again.

 

My name is Ronald Reagan…

 

Smiles all around. His playfulness eased the tension and they had productive talks as a result. They connected on a human level.

 

We do this in Laughter Yoga. We focus on allowing our inner 6-year old to come out and play.

 

When that happens, joy permeated the room and we feel little defensiveness. Instead we connect with others more deeply and see them as potential friends.

 

It is the play that does it. Along with laughter and smiles.

The Divided Mind: Source of Dis-ease. Mastery Newsletter October 14, 2017. Knowledge and Understanding Has Released Many Illnesses and Dis-eases.

Knowledge of the Hidden Cause of:

 

Overweight, cancer, herniated disc, migraine headaches, carpal tunnel syndrome, backache, acid reflux, pinched nerves, scoliosis…

 

These a few of the conditions that Dr. John Sarno’s discovery has healed.

 

Note that I said his discovery has healed, not him.

 

Some have healed long-standing conditions just by reading one of his books.

 

Dr. Sarno’s work has uncovered the one cause of many dis-eases.

 

That one cause is…

 

The subconscious mind.

 

Specifically, the anger, rage, emotional pain and sadness hidden below the surface.

 

One of the keys to this is that the rage, pain and sadness is hidden away in what Freud called the “id.” That is the very basic survival part of us.

 

The id cares not for anything or anyone else, but itself.

 

It is the part of us that is responsible for survival. And it is focuses on that and that alone.

 

The other note is that it is hidden from us. Our conscious minds do not have access to it. We do not know its inner workings.

 

Our conscious mind, what we can call the “ego,” works at protecting us from the turmoil in the id.

 

The ego prevents the rage, pain and sadness from surfacing in order to protect us.

 

The ego creates pain in our bodies to distract us from the rage surfacing.

 

That, says Dr. Sarno, is where the dis-eases come from.

 

All those conditions be what they may: itchy skin, TMJ, tennis elbow, tight muscles, back pain and the whole host of ills we are prey to.

 

Dr. Sarno’s “prescription” is to understand the process.

 

The good doctor says none of us survive childhood without bumps, bruises and trauma.

 

We are trained to keep those traumas at bay. Not allowing them to surface.

 

They build up. Eventually they surface as “conditions” or dis-eases.

 

We then take action to put down the symptoms.

 

Surgery for herniated disc for example.

 

Dr. Sarno says the treatment is temporary. Many times he has seen another condition show up in the body following treatment of symptoms.

 

He has treated thousands successfully.

 

The basic idea is to get in touch with what caused the condition in the first place. By understanding the cause, it seems like a lightbulb goes on. Thousands have found their symptoms reduce dramatically and often disappear entirely.

Cancer Support #1 Hope. Mastery Newsletter Special September 29, 2017

If you are diagnosed with cancer, there are some strategies to retake control.

 

The diagnosis itself can be emotionally devastating.

 

Well meaning doctors may trigger a lot of fear.

 

Keep in mind that hope is a powerful force.

 

Doctors tend to not want to hold out what they see as “False Hope.”

 

But hope is what can keep us alive.

 

Find a way to stay hopeful.

 

Here are some ideas.

 

Expose yourself to those who have survived cancer. Some have survived Stage IV cancer. The one that is supposed to be terminal.

 

Two examples come to mind. You may find others by searching.

 

Ronnie Hawkins, the Canadian Rock and Roll icon, was diagnosed with pancreatic cancer. He is still around after sessions with Adam Dreamhealer. He is now a Naturopathic Doctor in Vancouver, Dr. Adam McLeod.

 

Dr. McLeod also worked with Tommy Chong of Cheech and Chong fame. Chong credits his recovery from cancer to Dr. McLeod. http://www.dreamhealer.com/
